Courgette! Oh my God, thank you. I cropped off about 70% of the original photo which has greatly improved the original. Then DryBrush in PhotoShop because it was'nt sharp enough otherwise. This is actually Seabrook which is a mile from Sandgate, and I used to live over the road and along a bit just out of reach of the waves.
